In a fit of nostalgia last night, I spent more time than I'd like to admit looking back at old photos reminiscing about how awesome of a life I truly have.
My grand realization? Life has never been more amazing than it is right now. I feel the best I've ever felt, I'm reaching goals I never thought I'd be reaching in my business, I'm living the adventure that I always wanted to live.
Here's a quick photo recap of my 20s... six months to go until the big 3-0!
29 - A weekend in NYC with my love (April 2017)
This year we are feeling like (kind of) real adults. We're moving to Vancouver in the summer and go to bed at 9:30 on Saturdays. So far as a 29 year-old I've visited Africa for the first time (we went to Momo's family's house in Algeria over the holidays), and done some other crap that you probably don't care to hear about.

28 - My mom's wedding (September 2016)
While I was 28 everyone in my life got married. Thanks for making my life a cliché, fools! I was in 3 weddings including both of my parents' weddings and two of my best friends getting married to each other. I "officially" moved to Montreal (that's a long story). I also traveled on no less than 35 airplanes. I saw my family a TON which was wonderful and loud.

27 - Celebrating NYE in Chicago (December, 2014)
On NYE of 2015 (the day after this photo was taken) I vowed to give up alcohol for an entire year...and I did it! This is one of my favorite accomplishments. I also ran my 2nd half marathon. But guys, NO WINE for a year. Can I get a prize?

26 - Hanging out in Bali! (September 2014)
We're getting far enough back that I'm struggling to remember specific years. Here's my best shot at being 26... I joined a business mastermind and went to Bali. My business became a real thing and uhhh... all I remember about this year was working on my laptop a lot.

25 - I cut bangs. (September 2013)
By far the most important life event of being 25. These bangs were a bitch and a half to grow out (see later photos) but DON'T I LOOK ADORABLE?! This was right before my grandparents moved to Napa and my Momma moved to San Francisco... or right after? Again... memory problems...

24 - My love finally moved to Montreal (August 2012)
Holy crap 2012 was a rough year. I moved back from France, my house got hit by a tornado, and I didn't see Momo for 6 whole months before he moved to Canada. Here we are learning about all things Québecois in old Montreal. But I can't lie - the summer of 2012 was also kind of awesome. I took Marie Forleo's B-School, started my business, and had one of those wonderful summers I'll remember forever (or until I turn 32 and have no space left for 8+ year memories).

23 - I lived in Paris take two! (2011)
Ahh yes, that year that I bought a one-way ticket to Paris and spent 8 months hanging out in the city of lights. In August I bought the domain name Rulebreakersclub.com (my biz baby!) and the big theme was "what in the hell am I going to do with my life?!"

22 - Lived in Paris! We are now pre-smart phone (June 2010)
2010 was probably the best year of my entire life. I hate saying that because I'm one of those people who always thinks the best is ahead of you but really, truly, honestly 2010 is a year that I could probably write and sell a memoir about (I've legitimately thought about it!). You'll always have my heart, 2010!

21 - graduated from college and moved home before moving to France (April 2009)
This girl is excited because she is moving to Paris in 4 months! In the summer of 2010 I got my first "full time" job and promptly spent all of my money on clothes (many of which I still own and wear). Lordy lord, if only I could sit down with this little chica and have a chat. Ain't she cute?!

20 - Visited family in Connecticut and went to NYC with my Mom and Grandma (May 2008)
When I got home from this weekend trip with my Mom and Grandma (during which I distinctly remember an argument about Hilary Clinton because it was during the primary season before the 2008 election) I found out that I was accepted to be a Writing Consultant at my university. Life changing, guys. Life changing.

Welp, gathering those pictures might be one of the most egocentric things I've done lately (at least "publicly"). However it also showed me (a) that I really did (do) have a baby face - no wonder everyone always thought I was 14 - (b) photography has gotten much better thanks to instagram and smartphones ;) and (c) life has really, truly never been better than it is right now.
